My name is Jeff Hartline, and I am asking for your vote. Tomorrow is August 5th, the GOP Primary election day, and it is time to decide which Republican in Tennessee’s 5th District can defeat Jim Cooper in November. I firmly believe I am that candidate.
A few days ago we laid out a short list of Rep. Cooper’s most economically damaging votes in recent history. I want to be the 40th vote.
Assuming the Republican Party can retain every seat it currently holds in the U.S. House of Representatives, we would regain a majority in the House by one vote if 40 new conservatives were elected in November. What does $787 billion look like? Can you see it? Can you imagine how truly enormous that sum is?
Our government has been trumpeting the success of the 2009 Federal Stimulus bill for months, and it’s time we do one important evaluation: Job Creation. This link is a website created for disclosing the facts and details of the package. Let’s take a quick look.
